The ENoLL Labelling and Certification process serves as a seal of quality reserved exclusively for Living Labs that demonstrate a consistent use of the Living Lab approach.
Adherent and Effective Membership or Accepted to Grow membership are limited to those organizations able to showcase this consistency, ensuring high-value exchanges within the network and maintaining the excellence of outputs from ENoLL-certified Living Labs.
ENoLL Living Labs undergo a comprehensive structural and methodological quality assessment – based on a harmonized evaluation framework for all diverse types of Living Labs developed by ENoLL – to evaluate their maturity as innovation ecosystems. This seal of quality makes ENoLL Living Labs the global standard on user-driven innovation.
Membership applications are open year-round and welcome submissions from entities worldwide. Any legal entity – regardless of its location – that operates or hosts a Living Lab on behalf of a partnership is eligible to apply. ENoLL Living Labs are not limited to a specific region, type of organization, area of expertise, or group of people.
Since its inception in 2006, this certification process has recognized over 500 ENoLL Living Labs globally, fostering an international community of innovation hubs. ENoLL offers four distinct membership categories: Accepted to Grow Member, Adherent Member, Effective Member, and Innovation Partner.
