What are Living Labs?
Living Labs are user-centered, open innovation ecosystems that integrate research and innovation processes in real-life communities and settings. As defined by the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL), Living Labs involve citizens, research organizations, companies, and public authorities in co-creating solutions for real-world challenges. These environments encourage experimentation and active collaboration between all stakeholders, fostering impactful outcomes that address societal needs.
