The eLivingLab (http://www.eLivingLab.org) is focusing on a development of “e” prototype solutions (eCommerce, eGovernment, eLearning) in Slovenia and the eRegion. The focus in the Slovenian alpine region of Gorenjska with 200.000 inhabitants in 18 municipalities, its eCenter of the University of Maribor and cluster of software SMEs. The e-region as a whole is defined by all organisations – linked by eTechnologies – of the nearby countries within a perimeter of 200 to 500 kms

ICT Technology Network

In 2003 leading Slovenian companies, research institutions and universities join together in order to boost the R&D on the area of information and communication technology. In 2005 they form a consortium ICT Technology Network in order to seize the opportunity and to realize ideas and enable success. In order to achieve this goal they decided to integrate: knowledge, technologies, people, companies and institutions. Members of the ICT Technology Network work on broader area of ICT. Their motto is: “Seize the opportunity”.  

Slovenian Automotive Living Lab

Slovenian Automotive Living Lab is the central R&D and communication point between manufacturers, suppliers, research organizations and the government with innovative infrastructure support for Slovenian automotive industry. It has 54 members, from those 53 industrial companies and 6 R&D institutions (of which 5 faculties). Like the future of the automobile, which is based on the separate development of each part including our parts, the progress of the Slovenian Automotive Living Lab also depends on continual development and co-operation among the members.
