ENoLL welcomes a new Associated Member IIK - ESADE

ENoLL is pleased to welcome new associate member as the Institute for Innovation and Knowledge IIK (ESADE) joins the growing ENoLL community.

The Institute for Innovation and Knowledge devotes its work to two related areas. The first one Innovation with a special focus on Open Innovation. In this area the IIK is participating in several EU projects, such as InnoEnergy (EIT – KIC) and Open Cities, directly related to Innovation.

COIN Multipliers Prize - competition started

The Multipliers Prize is the initiative promoted within the COIN Project whose objective is to stimulate the production of COIN related ideas, and their eventual potential implementation, from potential adopters/users of the COIN Interoperability and collaboration services.

The Prize will award the three best COIN-related ideas collected for EI/EC services development and implementation, i.e:

SAVE THE DATE ENoLL General Assembly and new ENoLL Council

The ENoLL General Assembly will be held on 28 March 2011 in Brussels. All Effective and Associated members who have paid their membership fee for 2011 (as confirmed by the Treasurer) and Adherent members who have paid the administrative fee for 2011 (as confirmed by the Treasurer) will receive before 11 March 2011 an invitation to attend, and before 14 March 2011 the agenda of the General Assembly.

"Open innovation for Internet-enabled services in 'smart' cities" - EC Constituency Building Workshop and ENoLL EUROCITIES Matchmaking Event

The European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) and EUROCITIES Joint Matchmaking event on March, 2nd on Open Innovation for Internet-enabled Services in Smart Cities, for the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) ICT Policy Support Programme 5th Call for Proposals 2011, offers a unique platform to initiate cross border co-operations and to find new project partners in an efficient way.

eChallenges e2011 - Call for Papers

eChallenges e-2011 will focus on applied ICT research topics addressing major societal and economic challenges. The programme will combine strategic keynote presentations, technical and policy papers, case studies, workshops, an exhibition and social activities. The programme will showcase results from projects funded at national and regional level as well as those funded by European Commission Research Programmes.

ENoLL MoU Partners

To enable the European Network of Living Labs to implement its mission, it has established a range of collaborative linkages with other organisations  that have a complementary mandate, through Memorandums  of Understanding.

ENoLL FAO Cooperation for Innovating for Development

FAO   (The Food and Agriculture Organisation  of  the  United  Nations)  and  ENoLL jointly organized a two-day workshop "Innovating 4 Development" on 25-26th January 2011 in Rome.

The aim of this two-day workshop was to set the scene and to explore the potential for cooperation under the umbrella of the ENoLL-FAO Memorandum of Understanding, broaden the partnership of actors and agencies interested in collaboration and take stock of current initiatives amenable to integration with the Living Lab approach.

6th European Conference on innovation and entrepreneurship takes place in Aberdeen Business School, The Robert Gordon University, Scotland, UK 15 – 16 September 2011.
